Comic Project Red Journal 26

To make a simple long table meeting panel interesting, I tried to include a depth of feel into the image and this became the hardest perspective I have ever tried so far, spending a lot more time than expected.
Sweat... -__-

Comic Project Red Journal 23

Tracing in progress, this helps to save a lot of time, instead of plotting the perspective itself, if the background is not too complicated. You won't need to spent too much time creating difficult 3d models.

Working on a simple apartment building for repeated usage on the comic for certain scene with free 3D program...

Seems like 3D program is not exactly as easy as I have expected. Anyone using 3D program to create background for their comic, care to share your experience?

Drawing a recurring character in a comic that does not appears as frequently as others do, and now I'm trying very hard to get the face correct, crap!

And since the last book, the face looks kinda different now, haaa... -.-

The Journal of Comic Project Red 19

One particular pose I find hardest to draw, is a straight up frontal stance, the more simple it is, the harder. And the muscles, especially so, as I preferred them more natural and less muscular. But the most important point is... I'm just trying to prove that my reference photo does not include exclusively on females only...:d

The Journal of Comic Project Red 18

Sometimes, when even the figuring couldn't give me the posture I want, I will employ the power of internet research. Well... the awkward moment begins if you have little kids at home barging in suddenly... I tried to explain... it's reference material... I tried... -___-''

The Journal of Comic Project Red 17

I once mentioned in journal 2 that it looks creepy to have a male figuring posing for feminine poses. So I finally bought a female figuring to tackle these difficult angles. I even bought a clothing for her, so it wont look too weird in my room. Now my family thought I play barbie dolls... -_-ii

If there's one thing I absolutely hate about drawing, It's situation when you have to squeeze reasonable details into a very small panel. It's nothing critical but yet necessary enough to warrant the attention, and it really test my patience...

The Journal of Comic Project Red 05

I love action comics, and most of my collection are such, so it's only logical that I choose to draw the same category. But only when I'm really getting my hands on it do I know it's extremely hard to draw logical action sequences...kudos to all action comic artist!
